On June 2, CVS pharmacists at two stores in Orange and Anaheim, Calif., joined UFCW Local 324. The CVS pharmacists voted to join UFCW Local 324 because they recognized that better staffing, wages, and health care benefits come with a union contract. This is the fifth CVS organizing win for UFCW Local 324, which also represents CVS workers in Long Beach<\/a>, Tustin<\/a> and Rancho Santa Margarita<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

In addition to UFCW Local 324, the UFCW has organized several other units of CVS workers in California, including CVS workers in San Francisco<\/a>, who are members of UFCW Local 648; CVS workers in Murrieta<\/a> and Fontana<\/a>, who are members of UFCW Local 1167; and CVS workers in San Mateo<\/a>, who are members of UFCW Local 5. CVS workers in Ontario<\/a> are members of UFCW Local 1428; CVS workers in Spring Valley<\/a> are members of UFCW Local 135; and CVS workers in Reseda are members of UFCW Local 770.
