Durbin (D-IL).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UFCW International President Marc Perrone released the following statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe DREAM Act is about protecting and recognizing the young people who have called America home for as long as they can remember. As America\u2019s largest private-sector union, the UFCW is made up of countless DREAMers who serve in essential roles that have kept our country running.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis nation was built by generations of hardworking immigrants who were given the chance to realize the American Dream, but for years DREAMers have lived in an uncertain reality. This legislation would provide much needed stability and recognition to these incredible young people who help make up the fabric of our nation.
