Andy Beshear&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WASHINGTON, DC<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Today, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ufcw.org\/about\">United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW)<\/a>, which represents 1.2 million essential workers in grocery, meatpacking, retail, and other essential industries across North America, released the following statement in response to Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear\u2019s successful reelection bid.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UFCW International President Marc Perrone released the following statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur hard-working members and organizers helped send a clear message to elected officials today by casting their votes for Governor Andy Beshear who has demonstrated his strong support for workers&#8217; rights and the labor movement.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This critical victory could not have happened without the hard work and solidarity of our members across the commonwealth. Today proves that when workers stand together and make their voices heard, whether at the ballot box or on the shop floor, they win.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While we celebrate this much-deserved victory, the work will continue.
