These workers are employed as clerks, drivers, and receivers. They joined our union family in February of this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three-year contract includes significant wage increases, reduced health care contributions, improved vacation time, and an enhanced bereavement policy. Additionally, under their union contract, workers now have a solid grievance procedure in place and a newly established Safety and Health Committee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis first contract is a milestone for our members at the Giant Eagle Micro Fulfillment Center,\u201d said UFCW Local 1776KS President Wendell Young IV. \u201cIt represents not only a significant improvement in their wages and benefits, but also a powerful statement about the value of collective action.
