The workers are employed as patient counselors, floor leads, and inventory specialists.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These workers joined our union to build and secure good jobs for their futures and communities, and to work towards better fulfilling their company motto, \u201cWorry Free.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt has been a tremendous honor to be a part of something that not only benefits my co-workers and I, but sets a precedent for ethical cannabis sale and consumption nationwide,\u201d said Sydney Anderson, who is a patient counselor at the dispensary.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWorking in an industry that is so profitable, and where workers are so often overworked and underpaid, it feels amazing to have organized so effectively,\u201d said Jeffery Branch, who is also a patient counselor at the dispensary. \u201cOur union win isn\u2019t just for us, but for generations of cannabis workers to come!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Workers at the Sweetspot Medical and Recreational Dispensary in Exeter, R.I., recently joined UFCW Local 328.
