In addition, UFCW Local 400 secured an agreement from CVS to provide a 30-day notification of any store openings or closings, and won stronger labor-management cooperation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis is a great victory for UFCW Local 400 pharmacists,\u201d said UFCW Local 400 President <strong>Mark Federici<\/strong>. \u201cThey stood together in solidarity and, as a result, won pay increases that better reflect the invaluable services they provide to enhance their customers\u2019 health and the enormous value they add to CVS as a company.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About 429 members of UFCW Local 400 who are employed as pharmacists at CVS stores in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia recently ratified a new contract that includes record wage hikes.
