About 50 members of UFCW Local 74A who work at McCormick\u2019s Distilling Company in Weston, Mo., recently ratified a new contract.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

McCormick\u2019s Distilling Company is the oldest distillery west of the Mississippi River that is still operating in its original location, and these members produce McCormick\u2019s whiskey, rum, gin, and vodka brands, including 360 Vodka, Broker\u2019s Gin, Tequila Rose, Hussong\u2019s Tequila, Five Farms Irish Cream, as well as Holladay 1856 Bourbon, which is named after the distillery\u2019s founder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The three-year contract includes the follow provisions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

  • Wage increases<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n
  • Additional paid sick leave<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n
  • Better flexibility in using sick time and business leave<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n
  • Pay for workers who attend summer military training<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n
  • Protection for holiday pay<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n
  • Less discipline for being tardy<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n
  • Added pandemic language<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n
