Sysco is a foodservice company and these workers are employed primarily as delivery drivers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through hard bargaining, the new four-year contract provides Sysco members with the highest wage increases ever negotiated with this employer. Additionally, the negotiating committee was able to raise the 401(k) match percentage, offering our members an opportunity to save more for retirement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because most of these members work as drivers and don\u2019t usually work together, the new contract establishes a \u201cJoint Labor-Management Committee,\u201d consisting of bargaining unit members, a union representative, and management.
