Sherrod Brown secured a full contract last month after just seven hours of negotiations. The 30 workers, represented by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.ufcw1059.com\/\">UFCW Local 1059<\/a>, voted unanimously to approve the deal which covers them through the end of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Former Senator Sherrod Brown is a three-term Democrat who was unseated in 2024 and is running in a special election on November 3 to finish out the remainder of Vice President JD Vance\u2019s term. The winner of that election will hold the position until the seat is up again in January 2029.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tw-max-w-217 tw-m-auto tw-px-6 rich-text contained-block\" data-module=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wage and benefit improvements were the top issues for staffers, who work in Brown\u2019s election finance, media, politics, and press departments, mostly out of the campaign\u2019s Columbus, Ohio, office.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meet and Greet:\u00a0Former Sen.
